Ubuntu GNOME (formerly Ubuntu GNOME Remix) is an official flavor of Ubuntu, featuring the GNOME desktop environment. It is intended as a mostly pure GNOME desktop experience built from the Ubuntu repositories.
Canonical has announced the availability of the second update to the Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 product line. The new release, version 14.04.2, does not represent an entirely new release, but rather a minor update to the 14.04 branch. The new images contain additional hardware support and bug fixes over the original 14.04 release.
