Information about Robolinux 8.6

Robolinux is a user-friendly and intuitive operating system based on the latest stable release of Debian GNU/Linux. One of the project's more interesting features is the availability of a pre-configured virtual machine support pack with Windows XP or Windows 7 - a VirtualBox setup which allows the user to install and run the Windows operating system seamlessly alongside Robolinux. This is an optional add-on that must be purchased from the project's online store. Robolinux offers free-to-try live desktop media, however the project charges a fee for downloading the distribution's system installer.

Robolinux is a Debian-based desktop distribution which features many security and entertainment packages. The Robolinux project has released an update to the distributions 8.x series: Robolinux 8.6. The new version is available in four editions (Cinnamon, LXDE, MATE and Xfce) and can be run on 32-bit and 64-bit x86 processors. "Robolinux is pleased to announce its new upgraded Robolinux 8.6 Raptor Cinnamon, Mate, Xfce and LXDE 32-bit and 64-bit editions. As usual, Robolinux 8.6 comes with over 120 custom built WiFi, video and printer drivers and can run Windows XP, 7 and 10 virus-free inside.
