antiX is a lightweight Linux distribution based on Debian. The antiX project has released a minor update, antiX 17.2, which includes various updates and bug fixes for the 17.x series. "antiX-17.2 (Helen Keller) released. This is primarily a point-release upgrade of antiX-17.1 (Heather Heyer) with a new L1TF/Foreshadow and Meltdown/Spectre patched kernel, various bug fixes, updated translations and some upgraded packages. As usual we offer the following completely systemd-free flavours for both 32-and 64-bit architectures. So what has changed since antiX-17.1 release? New 4.9.126 kernel patched for L1TF/Foreshadow and Meltdown/Spectre exploits; all packages upgraded to Debian 9.5; eudev updated to 3.6; Firefox-esr upgraded to 60.2.2 (Quantum); our non-systemd version of PulseAudio included; non-free debs moved from main to nonfree in antiX repositories; improved localization; antiX-full – gz compression is used, which makes the live ISO image faster to boot, but bigger in size.
